Denim Jacket
A jacket is one of the wardrobe necessities that one must have. Given that the winters are marked with intolerable temperatures that drop to below optimum, having one is not only good as a fashion option, but to protect you from the cold. But the winters are not the reasons jacket were made for. They make an excellent addition to an outfit especially when done right. Jackets for the longest time have gained popularity with both the guys and the girls. And while the materials that can be used to make them are numerous, there are some that simply said, stand out. A fine example is a denim jacket.

Denim has had decades of years of existence and it is not only loved for the strong quality of material that promises years of durability, it makes a bold fashion statement which is always desired. There are different designs which are tailored for both men and women, and though there are undeniable similarities, like the front fastening buttons, the differences too are easy to tell apart. For instance, girls’ denim jackets are a bit hugging in contrast to those for guys which are less tight. Depending on the design, the jacket can be fitting, for girls, or it can be shorter to bring out a younger sexier look which is common with teenagers and young women. Embroided denim jackets are also common, though these are reserved for the women in precision. The embroidery is suppose to suppress the masculine outlook in the denim jackets as in the natural jeans are more tailored to fit men, until a feminine touch is added. It’s also common to find denim jackets with long hand length. These again are feminine without question, and they are almost always fitting.
Guys’ denim jackets don’t have too much detail either and their simplicity is what makes them sell. They adopt the basic design, though it’s easy to tell from a mile away that they are meant for the masculine kind. They are roomy, comfortable and with the modest kind of design. They always have the front pockets which are meant to accentuate the chest area and improve on the masculine look. They go well with jeans trousers or unique khaki if that is the way you choose to go.
Generally speaking, there are three shades of denim that are mostly associated with denim jackets, especially with the ladies. There is the dark wash which from the apparent naming, is one which takes on a dark shade which goes awesomely well with a white shirt or top. There is the light wash denim jacket which gives a faded kind of look. This one goes with a darker outfit, or a flowery one. Black denim is the last common shade. Though black, it gives off a bold statement, and helps display some fashion confidence. It goes well with either a dark or bright top, depending on the occasion.
Denim jackets have been around for years and years, and with the growing trend, there is no denying that they will be a perennial fashion choice for both men and women.
